Hey I know I'm not a very active artist who submits new deviations every other week or even day and art is rather just a hobby for me as it has nothing to do with my occupation but I have a couple of ideas in my mind which I want to fulfill when my exams at uni are over. I'm quite optimistic about everything and things are going a little bit better than I predicted which of course makes me calm and relaxed

I hope you're doing well and just wanted to say thanks for your support, it's really much needed and much appreciated.

I've been thinking for while about it as my DA front page is always switched to the popular deviations within the last 24 hours.

I've never had an aim of becoming popular over here as art is only my hobby and I just wanted to have a page where i could upload my stuff to in case some of my friends want to take a look at what I've been doing lately.
Being popular on DA brings a huge quantity of pageviews, watchers, favourites and comments. Your deviations appear on the front page and even the most silly ones (like the random pics of your dog or cat which normally should go to scraps) are commented as 'great' and 'amazing'. I don't take it positive as the lack of critique doesn't let you progress and make your art better and more sophisticated. Plus all the time you see the same artists on the front page and it becomes more difficult to discover some brilliant unknown talents.

I don't really wanna complain, these are just random thoughts in my head. And of course I don't want anyone to think that I'm jealous of those artists who are popular, not at all. I'm very satisfied with what I have
